Vintage Deco Ceramic Vessel Made in Japan

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds.  Here, a beautiful ceramic vessel with lid and double ring "handles" made in Japan sometime in the late 1920's and early 30's.  The unusual color combinations and floral motifs on a dark ground were inspired by ceramics from Gouda, Holland.  Don and John have been collecting these Gouda inspired Japanese ceramics for years because of the wonderful variety of patterns and the very inspiring mix of colors. 

Ceramic. About 5.25" tall x 5" diameter.  Made in Japan.

Please note: We have only one of this vintage item available and it is FINAL SALE.  Before purchasing, review all photos and please email us with any questions or concerns.  This piece will have small, non-structural imperfections in the finish or surface due to age but we think this adds to the vintage charm and character. The lid has a small chip on the underside edge (see photo).
