We are pleased to offer wonderful smelling incense from the Paris based design studio Astier de Villatte. Inspired by travels around the world, Astier de Villatte incense is handmade on the island of Awaji in Japan by master craftspeople following traditional techniques.
The inspiration: Planted in the Arizona desert, surrounded by giant cactuses with amazing shapes, stands Tucson. Wander downtown, along streets lined by colourful houses. Crushed by the heat, take a break in the shadow of a mesquite, watered by a little glass of mezcal.
The fragrance: wild grasses, parched wood, immortelle flowers and red earth.
One box contains 125 sticks (30 minute burn time each). Box measures 6" x 2.5" x .75". Made in Japan. Incense holders sold separately.
