We are pleased to offer wonderful smelling incense from the Paris based design studio Astier de Villatte. Inspired by travels around the world, Astier de Villatte incense is handmade in Japan by master craftspeople following traditional techniques on the island of Awaji.
The inspiration: Wild escape upon a desert steppe. An encampment, a herd of goats. Crude, supple leather steeped in tobacco and wood smoke from the campfires.
The fragrance: leather, tobacco, ambergris, angelica root.
One box contains 125 sticks (30 minute burn time each). Box measures 6" x 2.5" x .75". Made in Japan. Incense holders sold separately.
