Vintage Metal Mesh Bag with Enamel Decoration by Mandalian

PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds.  Here, a fantastic metal mesh bag with enamel decoration from the early 1900's.  This delicate bag was made by the Mandalian Manufacturing company an early mesh bag maker later acquired by Whiting & Davis.  Mandalian was renowned for their skill at enamel decoration on metal mesh and this bag is no exception.  We love the sophisticated color palette on graphic and floral elements as well as the wonderfully molded metal frame decorated with flowers and birds.  This bag makes a great piece of wall art!
