Inspired by 18th Century decorative arts and production techniques, Antoinette Poisson produces exquisite printed papers and fabrics from an atelier in Paris. The design house is named for Louis XV's favorite mistress, the marquise de Pompadour, a patron of the arts and wallpaper enthusiast.
Pattern after an 18th century original attributed to the Les Associés factory discovered in a devotional box from the collection of the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco. Following traditional production techniques, the black ink is printed using a metal plate and the colors are applied entirely by hand so variations will occur. Artisanal paper. 18" high x 14" wide.
