We are very pleased to offer a special selection of work by ceramic artist Melissa Mytty. These porcelain bowls are shaped and built by hand so each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. With her glazes, Melissa uses a brush to apply layers of color creating a painterly surface on her intricately patterned vessels. She often finishes her pieces with carefully applied metallic gold detailing.
Melissa holds an MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art and her ceramic work has been exhibited nationally. She lives and works outside of Philadelphia.
