PATCH NYC founders Don and John love to visit vintage markets whenever they travel and we are pleased to offer a selection of their special finds. Here, a wonderful pair of vintage ceramic vases by The Hinode in an unusual shade of blue decorated with a landscape design created using moriage (a time-consuming technique that results in a raised design). The interior is a peachy luster glaze. We love the wonderful matte blue color and the strong silhouette of these vases plus we found a PAIR which rarely happens.
Ceramic (probably porcelain). See detail photo for bottom mark. Measures about 7" tall x 4.5" wide x 2.5" deep. Made in Japan. Sold as a pair as shown.
